The story began in 1985 when the original retractable clothesline, the Retractaline – Large, 4 lines by 8m was designed and patented. This product has become a much-loved South African icon and can be found in most homes. It has a reputation for incredible longevity with many still in daily used some thirty years since manufacture.

Over the years a product evolved into a brand catering for a wide range of drying and associated innovations, as new solutions where designed and manufactured to cover the broad spectrum of laundry management needs.

The company currently caters to four specific drying categories: Retractable clotheslines offer a space saving solution in environments that have opposite walls available. Wall mounted folding clotheslines cater to the needs of boundary and single walls. Rotary clotheslines are ideal for small courtyards or lawns; and the traditional T-Pole washing line is ideal if large areas of space are available.

Each product offers solutions to different space requirements, type of laundry (e.g., sheets compared to clothing), and have sufficient range selection based on size and material choice to cater for all budgets and needs. A wide range of moveable laundry airers has been developed to cater for indoor and smaller load drying. The options again covers for all sizes and types of laundry and offers different price points.

A comprehensive ironing board range is also available: This includes a range of pine wood boards, hybrid steel leg / wooden top boards, and steel mesh ironing boards designed specifically to cater for steam ironing. A number of size options are available across the entire range to cater for customers ironing requirements.
